The Era of the Heavenly Empress
The Danger of the Fated
Written by Kitsu Sojiro after his experiences during The Great Warrior Pilgrimage 1173, it speaks of the dangers presented to the Empire by those with a dark fate. Originally, Sojiro wrote that they should be protected from themselves, as destiny, even a dark one, is not something to be trifled with. When the text was presented to Shoshuro Jimen, however, he altered it without Sojiro’s knowledge, painting the fated as nothing but dangers to the Empire. Both versions of the scrolls list The Tsunami and The Dark Crane as two of this generation’s fated, and while the scrolls did not name names, it was not difficult for most readers to read between the lines.
